This is the first 12\u2033 released by Medline on his own My Bags<\/a> label. The album will finally see the light of day this month, sporting a cover featuring the fabulous and mysterious hand made drawings of St\u00e9phane Carricondo.<\/a> The LP looks just magnificent, the music and artwork in perfect harmony reflecting many years of fruitful collaboration between St\u00e9phane and Medline.<\/p>\n

Old Soul\u2019s Carnival is an album for Hip Hop heads wanting something a little more. The French-Chilean producer always works outside of boundaries and styles frames and has delivered an album that sounds at once familiar and alien. It\u2019s part Daptone, part \u2018Harder They Come\u2019 Soundtrack, part Salah Ragab and part Pete Rock.
